Tues.
It wasn’t too bad getting out of Manasquan Inlet
this morning. The ocean was
relatively flat so we are good to go!
I didn’t have any problems until just before the
Verrazano Bridge. A container ship
threw a big wake that had both Dreamchaser
and I rolling all over. We
really slammed hard.
Liberty Landing is nice. I met a new friend – Firebird – a Grand Banks. She is traveling our way so I might see
her again.
Wed.
Jan & Bob Keebler joined us today. It’s good to see them again. All the people took the ferry into NYC.
They went to the 9/11 Memorial. They said it was very impressive and
beautiful. They also visited
Trinity Church and had lunch before coming back to see me.
Tomorrow we head to Croton-on-Hudson for 4
days.
Glad to see you are on the move! Hi to Jan and Bob. We are in Sault Ste. Marie and staying through Canadian fireworks on Monday. Then heading into Lake Superior for about 6 weeks.
