Tues.

It wasn’t too bad getting out of Manasquan Inlet this morning.  The ocean was relatively flat so we are good to go!

I didn’t have any problems until just before the Verrazano Bridge.  A container ship threw a big wake that had both Dreamchaser and I rolling all over.  We really slammed hard.

Liberty Landing is nice.  I met a new friend – Firebird – a Grand Banks.  She is traveling our way so I might see her again.

Jan & Bob Keebler joined us today.  It’s good to see them again.  All the people took the ferry into NYC.

They went to the 9/11 Memorial.  They said it was very impressive and beautiful.  They also visited Trinity Church and had lunch before coming back to see me.

Tomorrow we head to Croton-on-Hudson for 4 days.

Atlantic City, NJ

We left Cape May this morning at 8 AM, heading for Atlantic City.  The ocean wasn’t too bad, at least for the first few hours. Had a lot of traffic as I approached AC because of a boat race.

Greg violated one of my cardinal rules today – no traveling on weekends!  Too many crazies out there!

I am docked at the Farley State Marina right outside the Golden Nugget.  It’s a bit noisy because of the outside bars and music, but not too bad.  Our people went to dinner at the Chart House – they all said that it was really good!

It started raining at 10 PM – hope it’s not going to last.  I want to get to Brielle tomorrow!

Dreamchaser and I left Chesapeake City around 8AM on Friday, heading to Cape May.  We are going to Canyon Club for 2 days.  I have never been there.  My friend Salt ‘n Sand lives there.

Once I was in and tied up, my people called Rich & Carol from Salt ‘n Sand. They went out to dinner together while Dreamchaser’s people had their children & grandchildren visit.

Saturday was a lazy day for me.  My people visited friends in Cape May and then came back to go dinner with others.

Tomorrow I will be playing in the Atlantic Ocean again!

Dreamchaser and I left Annapolis about 8:15 AM.  I said goodbye to Once Around; hope I meet up with her again (maybe in the Bahamas?).

It was a typical trip up the bay – big boats blasting by me and rocking everyone. Oh, well.

I am spending the night on a T-head @ Chesapeake Inn & Marina.  Seems like a nice place, however – there is a Tiki Bar!  Hope it’s not too noisy tonight.

Friends of Dreamchaser’s people came by and everyone had drinks on my deck and then went to dinner.  I think they had a good meal at The Bayard House.

Tomorrow I’m off to Cape May.

Well, I’m on the move again!  This time Dreamchaser
 is with me.  We hope to eventually make our way up
 into Canada to do the Rideau & Richelieu canals and 
come back down through Lake Champlain.  We are
 taking our time because of lock closures on the various
 canals and a back up of boats.

I hope we have as much fun as I did last time!

We already met up with 2 of my old friends – Once Around
 & Moonstruck.  Kate & Greg had a good time talking with them.

I think we will stay put tomorrow because of weather.  After that – 
who knows where I’ll be!
