Hopewell Bay and Byng Inlet

July 29 & 30, 2011

It’s raining when everybody wakes up.  I left the dock at 8:35 AM.  There was a little drizzle, but then the sun came out and it was a nice day for a ride.  We did hit a patch of fog, but it didn’t last long.

When we got to Honeywell Bay Crawdad put down her anchor and I rafted to her.
Crawdad & Grianan

After lunch, they all explored the bay and it’s little coves in the dinghies until around 3 PM.  All in all a nice lazy afternoon.

Plans for Saturday were made over dinner.

(Sat.) Beautiful morning!  We’re unrafted and Crawdad’s anchor is up and we’re on our way by 9:20 AM.

It’s a nice day to be crossing outside on Georgian Bay.  There’s a light breeze, and everyone is comfortable -- no waves and sunny and clear.

I’m tied up at Wright’s Marina by 1:05 PM and everybody is doing chores or relaxing.   Aaahh!!!
