What a day!!! There were 3 different takes on what we went through today:
Kate: Never, ever again!!
Greg: Well, it wasn’t the best day, but it wasn’t that bad.
Grianan: Wheeeeeeeeeeeee! Yeehaw!
They got me up pretty early today – we untied and left by 6:30 AM! It was pretty good coming out the inlet at AC. The sea wasn’t even that rough. It was sunny and even pretty warm.
We got the first sign of things to come when we hit fog around 10:45. Then it was rain at around 1:30 and a thunderstorm off Barnegat. It kept raining and the seas got rough --- then a wind shift! The wind had been out of the southwest and shifted to east. Not good – especially for Kate!
We finally made it into Atlantic Highlands in the rain and fog at 4:30PM. Long Day!

I got all cleaned up and pretty for company. Greg changed my oil and transmission fluid. Nice! I had a lot of company over the weekend. They all said really nice things about me.
Kate finished provisioning and bringing on more clothes. We are ready to go!
